Elemen ketiga dalam tari Reog Ponorogo adalah Jathil. Jathil melambangkan sosok orang yang kurang beruntung dalam kehidupan. Mereka adalah orang-orang yang selalu berjuang untuk mengatasi segala kesulitan dalam kehidupan.
